These jobs are service positions needed by various Al-Anon groups, districts and service committees in Suffolk County. The only requirement they all share is active membership in our fellowship. It is suggested that you have more than one year in program. Positions above the group level require members who are not also members of Alcoholics Anonymous. They all pay the same: personal growth resulting from an improved understanding of yourself and our program.
Beyond these general requirements, each job has it's own needs and requirements. These are set out in the Al-Anon Service Manual, the ASIS Guidelines or the Group, Board or Committee needing the volunteer. Those requirements are quoted here.

We always need volunteers to answer the phones!
You don't have to be an old-timer to do service beyond the group level! A couple of hours every month is enough. Let your Higher Power connect you to people you need to hear from while you put people in need in touch with a meeting! Flexible hours! No commuting - work from home!
